At Beech Hyde we are lucky to have a Sports Coach and each class has 2 hours of PE every week (1 hour in Nursery and Reception). Beech Hyde has acheived the Platinum School Games Award due to its committement to engaging and inclusiive sport for everyone!

We have a number of sports clubs and teams - Football, netball, cricket, athletics, table tennis and many more..... The teams play in local leagues and county level.

Four pupils in Year 6 are elected as Sports Ambassadors for the year.  Their role is to involve as many pupils as possible in sports activities and encourage our pupils to develop healthy lifestyles.

Our sports teams and clubs are already training and enjoying success in matches played against other local schools - with 2nd place in the inter schools Netball competition!
