Wheathmapstead 10k & 2k Race

The Wheathampstead 10K / 2K family fun run is a run for adults and children held annually by Beech Hyde School. It has proven to be a valuable event for the school community as well as providing the village and the wider community with a superbly enjoyable and organised event highly respected by serious runners and 'fun' runners alike. Within the past 4 years we have managed to raise £50K from this event alone, and this fund has been spent on the new learning area a.k.a. Courtyard room, gazebo, Infants outdoor play area, hall redecoration, restocking books in the library, to name but a few.
