Sharing Assembly
Every week, families are invited to join the whole school community in an assembly that celebrates the efforts and achievements of our pupils. This is a very special time each week, and we encourage parents, carers, grandparents to attend if they can. Pupils love to share their achievements with their families, and for many it is a highlight of their week. We share whole class activities across all subjects, celebrate sporting and musical achievements both in and out of school, present the Davey Cup for Maths and the English STAR award, the attendance bear for best attendance that week, house points, role models and so much more.
Sharing Assemblies usually take place on Thursdays at 2.50pm in the hall, but please check with the school as sometimes this time is changed. Every term there is a musical sharing assembly at 9am where pupils perform either as individuals on instruments they have been taking lessons on in school - piano, guitar... or as a class, and as a whole school. We also have one Sharing Assembly per term that is in the morning at 10am so that our Nursery class can join us. Please do come and join us.
